Challenge
A partnership between Peterborough Public Health, the City of Peterborough and Peterborough County was formed to address the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We were tasked with creating and communicating important messages during the worst of the pandemic. The main objectives of the campaign were to educate the public about about the pandemic, the benefits of public health measures, and to encourage compliance. The constantly evolving, unprecedented crisis required clear, community-focused, positive messaging that connected with Peterborough and County residents.
Approach
We used 5 methods to communicate the required messages: radio and TV public service announcements, online ads, out-of-home advertising, and print advertising. Because filming in-person wasn't always possible, we relied on stock imagery and footage, voice-overs, clear copywriting, and animated graphics.
